No one paid us. No one gave us food or alcohol. No one told us to march in the streets of Culiacan. We marched and carried signs with hundreds maybe thousands of others because we love Chapo Guzman and want him freed from prison immediately. Chapo is our hero. He creates jobs and gives money to poor people in Sinaloa and other states, too. He remembers our names and says hello and makes us feel special. We’re not going to let the corrupt government take him away from us. We’re not going to let the gringos get him. They have no right. Chapo never hurts people unless they try to steal his crops and destroy our way of life.
