Gerald didn’t want to go to church. He wanted to stay home and shadowbox while cursing enemy. He didn’t believe religious stuff and only went because wife reminded he’d promised. Fine, he’d do time but prayers and music were aggravating. He glanced at wristwatch. Priest in robe, sequestered by scripture, didn’t know squat. Gerald hardly heard him say bearing anger and hatred doesn’t hurt other person but it’s terrible for you. He wondered what priest had said about Jesus. It probably wouldn’t help but might. He decided to ask outside and would’ve but people surrounded priest and in few hours Gerald was shadowboxing.
