Eternal Taliban

You’ll never reliably read the Taliban’s being uprooted from Afghanistan. Instead you’ll be reminded I’m still pre-9/11 Mullah Omar whose zealots thrilled stadium crowds, stoning adulterers, lopping off thieves’ hands, and taking our popular show into Pashtun farmland in south and east Afghanistan.

Now we’re protected in Pakistan by the Inter-Services Intelligence agency helping me plot a comeback. Traitorous Afghans know most of them are being killed by the Taliban, not the United States, and we’ll continue to detonate with impunity and preside as judges in mobile courts that warn: join us or die when America departs proclaiming victory through a foul mouth.
