We’re not afraid in Michigan. We’re thrilled to be jammed into this wonderful airplane hangar, and behind me you’re inspired by the beauty and power of Air Force One which you’ll never forget seeing today. You’re not going to ruin this experience by wearing masks. You’ve already forgotten what I told Bob Woodward months ago. With me as your president, we don’t run from the coronavirus. We embrace life.
Seeing at least five thousand of you today tells me “this is not the crowd of a person who comes in second place.” We’re going to win Michigan, which is a really critical state. You’re much too proud and independent to follow state guidelines that meetings should be limited to a hundred timid people. Look at us. We don’t need negative rules that are ruining our nation. Tell the governor, Gretchen Whitmer, to quit playing politics and open up your state. I wish you had “a governor who knew what the hell she was doing.”
Thankfully, I’m an expert in all critical areas and guarantee things are getting better now. You know that because, like me, you feel healthy and happy.
