Trump at United NationsFacebooktwittergoogle_pluslinkedinmail

It’s a great honor to be at the United Nations right here in my hometown of New York. I do think the building’s a little shabby and would’ve been a lot prettier if I’d built it but that’s okay. We’re here today to celebrate the fact that because of my leadership the stock market is at an all-time high, unemployment is the lowest it’s been in years, and our military will soon be stronger than ever. All that is critical since terrorists are gaining momentum and spreading to every corner of the planet while rogue nations support them and threaten international peace with the most destructive weapons in history.

To overcome the perils posed by these loser nations and terrorists, we need to form coalitions of strong and independent nations. I don’t expect them to share the same traditions but want them to respect their people and other nations. We don’t seek to impose our American way of life on anyone. If you’re thinking about places like Vietnam, Iraq, and Libya, don’t forget how much better off they would be if we’d better handled their Americanization. Let the United States shine as an example for everyone.

Right now, the scourge of our planet is a small group of rogue regimes who violate every principle on which the United Nations is founded. Iran and Venezuela are terrible, but no one has shown more contempt for other nations and their own people than the depraved regime in North Korea that oppresses, imprisons, tortures, and murders. And every day they’re recklessly pursuing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles to deliver death. It’s an outrage some nations trade with North Korea and arm and supply and support them.

The American people, and I in particular, have great strength and patience, but if we are forced to defend ourselves or our allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime. It’s time for North Korea to realize denuclearization is its only acceptable future. The U.N Security Council twice voted fifteen to nothing to adopt hard-hitting resolutions – but not as hard-hitting as I wanted. I’d like to thank Russia and China for joining to vote for sanctions. All nations must work together to isolate the Kim regime until it ceases its hostile behavior. I’m not talking regime change but you know I’m thinking about it and so are plenty of others, some inside North Korea.

Notes – President Kim Jong Un responded by calling Donald Trump “deranged.” Kim is likely even more unstable. I propose these two egomaniacs undergo mandatory psychiatric examinations, and appropriate treatment, before they blow up the world.
